Meet-in-the-Middle Planner

Meet-in-the-Middle Planner was built at the GrabMaps API Hackathon, where builders prototyped with unreleased GrabMaps APIs. The app helps a group of friends find the most balanced area to meet, regardless of where each person is coming from.

• Designed the group meetup planning flow and fairness logic.

• Shipped and demoed a working prototype during the one-day hackathon.

The Problem to Solve

Planning where to meet is often unfair or messy when everyone starts from different parts of Singapore. People usually choose a familiar location instead of one that balances travel time for the whole group.

Our Solution

The prototype compares starting points, routing context, and nearby places to suggest a more neutral meeting area. It is designed for friends who want a simple, practical way to pick a location that feels fair to everyone.
